Terms of service

Last updated 15 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Adehun. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, email us and we will explain it plainly.

What Adehun is

Adehun is document automation software. It drafts agreements from your description, lets you edit them, and captures electronic signatures with an audit record.

Adehun is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. No lawyer-client relationship is created by using this service. The AI does not know your circumstances, your jurisdiction's quirks, or what you have already agreed elsewhere. For anything valuable or unusual, have a qualified lawyer review it — our Legal Review add-on exists for exactly this.

Your account

You sign in with single-use links sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts. You must not use Adehun to create documents that are unlawful, fraudulent, or intended to deceive anyone about who they are dealing with.

Your documents

You own everything you create. We claim no rights over your agreements beyond what we need to store, render and deliver them for you.

We do not train AI models on your contracts, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what goes into an agreement and for the consequences of what you sign. Adehun renders and records; it does not verify that terms are wise or that the person signing is who they claim to be.

Electronic signatures

Signatures captured through Adehun are recorded with the signer's stated intent to be bound, together with their name, email, IP address, device and a timestamp, and the document version they signed.

This is designed to align with the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA, the EU eIDAS Regulation, and the Nigerian Evidence Act 2011. Whether a particular agreement is enforceable depends on its content and context, which is beyond anything software can guarantee.

Payment

The Starter plan is free and allows one contract per calendar month. Unlimited is billed monthly through Paystack in Naira or US Dollars.

Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep Unlimited until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund part-months, but if something went genuinely wrong, tell us and we will make it right.

Legal Review is charged per contract and is fulfilled by a practising lawyer. It is advisory: it does not transfer responsibility for the agreement to us.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Adehun available and correct, but we provide it as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business, arising from your use of an agreement created here.

Ending things

You can stop using Adehun at any time and request deletion of your account and its contents by emailing us; we action such requests within seven days.

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, break these terms, or put other users at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms materially, we will email account holders before the change takes effect.

Questions go to hello@adehun.com. A human reads that inbox.
